Even though I have set it the login screen to remember my details I often seem lose the session and have to login again and the input fields are empty.
This happens on Windows 7.
Yep same thing here. Not a huge deal but it’s annoying to need to log into Unity whenever I want to work on my project.
This is driving me crazy!
I have to login around once every day, sometimes even multiple times.
Bug report is in.
Same here, unity 5.1.2f1, on a mac with OS X Yosemite 10.10.3
Same for me, seems about every few days, it asks me to log in again, even though I have Remember me flagged. It also doesnt remember my login ID Email address, like most logins do, so I need to type it all again. Win7 64 Bit, with latest version of Unity.
I thought it was just something new that made it log in every time I upgraded, because closing the editor down is unthinkable
Same problem. This is ridiculous.
Same here, the “remember me” must be set to “forget me”
Has anyone came to a solution?
The same for me as well, kind off.
It never remembers me when I boot up the computer but it do remember until I shut if off again.
The editor doesn’t launch after I sign in with my account. It just disappears and I have to launch the editor again to select my project… didn’t the editor previously keep track of the project and launch it automatically? Or am I just mixing that part up with some other program?
The editor not remembering your project is a whole different thing, and it’s just a setting in the preferences. Go toggle it back on
The latest beta changed it so logging in isn’t necessary anymore just to open a project. I guess that’s one way to sweep it under the rug
I am totally pissed. Not fixed until now
This problem still exists in 5.5.0p2, OS X EI Capitan.
Still facing this problem on 5.5.0f3 on Windows 10
I have to log in Unity whenever I launch Unity.
This bug has been logged in the official issue tracker but it seems it is not given enough attention.
