Hello, Just started working on a large map and was making a few islands. Went to paint trees and when I go to hit the “Add Tree” button to paint some trees, the menu does not open. I have read, with a few other peoples posts, that you may have to wait for about 3 seconds and it might appear. Apparently, 5 minutes isn’t long enough.
Just wondering if anyone had a fix or a way to just add the tree prefabs I already own to the tool so i can continue my development.
The same thing happens with the Paint Details button for “Add Grass Texture” and “Add Detail Mesh.”
Let me know if uploading anything would be of use.
I’m having the same problem, I got the grass working by increasing the strength and opacity = 1 and also I think my project got mixed up with two different HDD, so now i"m trying to use my main drive, I tested the problem on my laptop and it didnt have any issues, the only problem I am having now is the trees, where the add tree window doesn’t show. I feel like it has something to do with my computer.If you found a solution it would be a big help.
Edit: its working on my laptop, seems to be a PC specific issue. Maybe reinstalling all versions will work, but probably will have to use my laptop or reset desktop to factory settings…
SOLVED: (for me) the solution was moving one of my monitors lol. I have a dual monitor setup but my wall mount is over loaded, so a part of one of them was covering up a small section of screen where the pop-up window was…
Give this a try as apparently clean installing doesn’t fix or reset this window position.
is there anyway you could send me like a screen record or a screen shot of the task manager andd stuff couse i am having that problem and it sucks anything would help.
