Unity editor white and unresponsive if opened up on second monitor

Title basically. If you close Unity on your second monitor, Windows of course remembers it being there so it opens up there. Issue is, when I open it there, the editor becomes completely white and unresponsive, to the point that I can close it with the X button, but it doesn’t stop. In the background, a Unity editor is still running, that needs to be ended in task manager. Funny part is that while this background editor is running, all subsequent editor instances, regardless of where it’s opened up, suffer the same fate and become white and unresponsive.

There are several reports of these white icons/screens. Not sure if there’s a general solution, look around for some pointers.

I remember some systems simply did not meet specifications: Unity - Manual: System requirements for Unity 2022.3

May have to do with graphics chips and drivers, so be sure to install the latest and for Nvidia, prefer Studio drivers over Game Ready. Make sure the OS is up to date too.
