I was playing around with AppMakr and decided to create an iPhone app that I thought I would find useful - a collection of RSS feeds for the various official Unity informational channels - new, blog, forum, feedback and answers sites. It’s free, if you want to try it out:
i got windows 7 64 bit and it dont work … it says i need 32 bit… also does this even work on a pc ?
The link is to the iTunes page for an iPhone app. Are you talking about iTunes? Or AppMakr?
well the itunes didn’t work since i have 64 bit and it needs 32 bit it said and i never got as far as appmakr … itunes it says is also for pc btw
I have itunes running on 64-bit Windows 7 - I don’t remember the installation process but the Apple iTunes download page, iTunes - Apple , when run on Windows shows me two downloads, one 32-bit and one 64-bit. But if you don’t have an iPhone, there’s no point in trying to bring up iTunes to download the app.
AppMakr is entirely different. That’s what I used to create the app. It’s on http://appmakr.com/
The AppMakr simulator version is here - http://appma.kr/9rFr4Z
Added a version on the Android Market - https://market.android.com/details?id=com.appmakr.app177073
Another version for Android (I was playing around with Andromo before they switch to a pay model in the next few days)

Kinda Cool! Easily access multiple sites in a short time.
Thanks! I use it to check random Unity stuff on my phone when I go out for lunch and stuff.
Nice app. Where’d you get those synidications from?
Thanks! I think I got most of those RSS urls by loading up the page in Safari and clicking on the RSS icon that shows up in the URL field. The app could use some custom icons, although. Also, I forgot to add a link to the wiki (it also has an RSS feed, but it’s not pretty to read!)
Very useful app technicat! I did a review for the iPhone version.
Thanks! That one was made with AppMakr. I was on an AppMakr kick for a while but then Apple started rejecting them. One of these days, I’d like to build this type of app with Unity - I think I saw an RSS feed package on the Asset Store.
