Unity for pc games?

It’s overshadowed for pc games as there are better known pc engines with flashier graphics, lots of ios games because it’s an easy way to make ios games

Unity can do pc games perfectly well and especially recently has had tools developed for it that can help run and prettify these games into soething spectacular, with a competent artist and/or programmer. No need to discuss this

The productivity of an artist is greatly affected by their tools. If you need to actually make enough stuff to fill a game, your ability isn’t going to stop time from passing

Ohh I see what you mean. An artist can make most of the stuff his own way but will never be able to make everything without consuming a HUGE amount of time and unity saves that time with stuff that comes with unity itself(terrain as an example i guess) which is what you referred as when you said that some other engines had(or could have) better graphics (you didn’t say it like this but that’s what I took from it)

Not just things that come with generic Unity, you’ll find a treasure trove of amazing technology for your games that you absolutely wont find prebundled with other engines in the Unity asset store

I am making PC game in Unity right about now. Also there are lots of PC games that are made with Unity, but aren’t advertised as such. For example Kerbal Space Program, Patterns and Starforge are made in Unity.

Unity started on the Mac and then went to PC and and mobile…it’s definitely suited to desktop games.
