Unity freezes not once or twice, but all the time!

I have been using Unity since August on both my Mac and PC and have had nothing but problems. I would say it is a lot worse on my Mac’s (Air 2011 iMac 2013) where I am scared to even run the scene or modify a game object. This is unacceptable and do not understand why these releases are still occurring? (currently running 4.3.1 f1).

I am unable to reproduce the issues except for the debugging problem, Unity 4.3 crashes on Mac when debugging on Monodevelop 4.0.1 - Questions & Answers - Unity Discussions

But I find I am forcing a quit on Unity 3 to 10 times per hour of use…no bull!

As I am typing this, Unity froze, I just created a new project and attached a simple Hello World script to the only game object; the Main Camera then played and stopped the scene. Bam, frozen?!?!?

I have found countless threads that have similar but unexplainable freezing issues so I can’t be the only one. Seriously Unity crew, you have to stabilize your product! F*#@ the new features because the foundation is looking pretty rocky from my point of view. Great product ~ poor execution.

I am really starting to regret my move from my previous game engine of choice ~ but now I’m invested and am frustrated as hell!!!

Just created a new scene in my almost empty project, gave it a name, hit the command+S keys to save the scene. Freezes.
