Unity game development station question

I’m thinking of (if I need to) purchasing a machine to develop 2D games on. I used to be an old-school 2D game programmer and I loved it. Then I was in a car wreck that was entirely my fault. All my games were lost while they were trying to save my life. I was unconscious for 3 weeks and my memory has slowly been getting better since then.

I would love to get back into game programming. Can I get some advise on decent game programming stations to purchase? I -MAY- already own it. Budgeting is an issue, but the quality of the game development station outweighs my concern over its cost. I guess that I’m fine with reconditioned as long as it’s reconditioned well.

Could I get a list of prices of the all the systems for game development and the system’s game development prices? I’m fine with purchasing a used system as long as I find a model that is in good condition…

good luck

That’s kind of a weird question. See this page:

Look on the left-hand side and it will show you what you need for development. Or, download Unity and see if it runs. As they say on that page, most everything from 2004 and on should be fine. Obviously, more power is always nice, but not a requirement.
