So… i have a very simple question. Can i create a Resolution Gate in Unity which allows me to determine which is going to be my game resolution and what is it going to appear in the game itself from everything i have in the viewport?..
I mean, i don’t even know which is the resolution in which my “Game” tab is going to be exported, nor which objects are going to appear when it is imported.
What? ![]()
Which platform are you distributing to?
Hello ShadowK! i want to make a game for Steam. And i would like it to be 1080p. What im not sure about is if the viewport itself is exactly what im going to have in the final game version or if i can adjust it to a resolution gate of my desire.
You have a build menu, so users can change to there resolution as they wish when you build for desktop. I’m not sure what you mean by resolution gate? Because as said, users select there screen resolution.
Yea, players set there resolution via the build menu (start up the build and you’ll see).
You shouldn’t focus on any specific resolution. Your game should work seamlessly in all resolutions, because people have different monitors with different resolutions and aspect ratios.
