I bought a galaxy tab 4 to test run my unity games on android, but the frame rate seems to run slow on the device. The game has several layers of moving transparent sprites which I know to can cause a slowdown but I only have a few in the scene. After hours of figuring out optimization issues, I’ve decided to find my old nexus s phone only to discover that the game runs completely fine on it. I don’t understand why it’s slower on the tablet with better specs.
I tried running other games on it and it turns out that the tab 4 is slow at running games in general…Maybe I’ll just return it and get some other tablet
