How did I not hear about this?
The art looks pretty terrible, but the game seems neat. It’s like Portal except you shoot snippets of code to change things in the world, as an edutainment experiment to teach people how to program in Unity.
Oh, and $170,000! Wow!
They have a good artist working with them now.
I’m not entirely sure how this will teach anyone but its very interesting
Let’s just hope they don’t glorify game dev to much. Last thing this forum needs is a swell of kids asking “can I haz teh MMO codez?”.
Hope that didn’t come out the wrong way, I still think what they are doing is a great idea.
