Unity gets stuck on "Importing (iteration 2) (busy for x:xx)...

Hey guys.

I upgraded to Windows 11 yesterday, I’ve just tried opening my Unity project and it seems to get stuck

I’ve left it for 5 minutes or so, I’ve tried restarting, ending all processes, even followed someones advice about clearing the packages cache folder, I can’t get into my project.

It was working fine before the OS Upgrade, any ideas?

EDIT: Probably useful to know, it’s 2020.3.28f1 and Unity Hub 3.1.2

EDIT 2: I logged out, and back into the hub after seing someone else have success this way, Now it seems to be stuck on an earlier step, “Load Scripting Assemblies”.

Did you find a solution to this as I am experiencing the exact same issue.

I just started having this problem and it’s happening in numerous scenerios. Brand new projects from the hub… importing projects into an existing project… etc.

And now my existing project won’t load.

I don’t need this today. Trying to get work done, trying to do a gamejam this weekend. I literally reformat and reinstalled EVERYTHING yesterday because it started doing this last night and I didn’t want any headaches for the weekend jam.

Brand new HDRP project. Created it at 4pm EST, it’s now 20 minutes later… Sigh. I just reformat the system last night.
