Unity grass looking weird HDRP

I’ve made a simple grass mesh in blender and exported it into unity. The mesh consists of 4 faces. I then exported it into unity, extracted the materials, and then put some grass on the terrain.

I am using HDRP, which means that I can’t use the paint detail option in the terrain. So I used the tree placing option, and painted some grass.

As you can see however, the grass looks utterly gross. I think it has to do with the fact that some faces of the grass is extremely dark when facing away from the sun 199171-grasspiclol2.png

As I said before, I am using HDRP, and Unity version 2021.3.8. Please I could really use some help.

My guess here is that you would likely want fewer, thinner blades of grass instead of these mini bushes. It would create more shade variation as it lets more light pass through and not make such a contrast in shading.
