Are there any good tutorials, resources, examples, tips, etc. out there on designing any type of GUI in Unity?
(This does not include the GUI section in Unity’s Script Reference, although that is a very helpful resource)

design3 has several tutorials that teach GUI scripting, though none of them walk through every GUI class, and I don't believe any use GUILayout.
