Around 2 days ago i started having problems with unity hub, projects runned really slow, errors with packages, broken results, I discovered that licensing client takes up from 30% of memory (i have 16 gb of ram in general), sometimes it’s jumps to 50%, without even projects open.
I just opened unity hub, and licensing clien doing that. I completely deleted and reinstall it, both manually and with uninstall, problem still preserves.
It’s also completely killed my pc twice yesterday, i was just working despite memory leak, and at some moment pc just crashed without any bluescreen, just lagged and restarted itself.
Also tried to replace free license i been having earlier, from unity hub, didn’t helped too.
Is there anything can be done to fix it, since complete reinstall didn’t worked ?
Mine stays around the 359.5mb mark
It doesn’t exactly showed that it taking space, but magically, each time licensing client launching, free space reduced by about 20%. And if i try to close license client thru process explorer or else, one copy closing in 5 second, while another launching, and taking another 20% of memory. So closing 3 of them one after another enough to kill my pc,because 100% memory occupied and pc laggs to death.

yep mine does the same - constantly farting about looking at entitlements and the like… and in fact mine errors yours does not… it doesnt look like its doing bad behavior from here - id say log a bug
My main problem - memory leak it’s creating, around 20% of memory for each running copy of license client, it’s not registered by system as “license client” used memory at all, and that happens without anything but unity hub openned. It wasn’t an issue when i started, it appeared couple days ago, but recently there was no new programms, no changes, nothing new on my computer.
It seems odd mine doesnt do it, hence Id say log a bug. There must be something that triggers it

True, I’m facing the same issue. When I open unity hub it eats 1GB then after a minute it settles for around 300 MB, which is anyway stupidly high cause unity hub is just a list of projects
