Unity Hub asking access to confidential info in KeyChain

Hi there!
All of a sudden, after updating to Unity Hub 3.11.1 every time that I start Unity Hub I get this message:

Unity Hub wants to use your confidential information stored in “UnityHub Safe Storage” in your keychain.

This never happened before, and if I deny access everything still seems to work ok. Has anybody else experienced such a behaviour? Is it still safe?

Thanks for all replies!

That’s pretty normal. If you click Always Allow it won’t bother you anymore after the first few requests.

Well, that’s one way to do it. But I’d like to know why if never happened before and all of a sudden this message starts popping up.

The new Unity Hub also broke a few editor installs. It stopped opening projects created with certain editor versions that had been there for some time and never had problems.

Removing these versions from the Hub and reinstalling them solved the problem.

The reality is that every time Unity comes up with a new Hub version, I’m starting woodoo rites: you never know what’s going to be botched in this next version!
