Unity Hub Authentication for Schools

I’m using Unity to teach Game Design & Programming at the high school level in the US. Our students have Google e-mail accounts that are unable to receive outside e-mail. I’m sure you can imagine why… Some, but not all, of my students get a message that says (more or less) “we recognize your Google account and want to merge it with your Unity account – please click on the e-mail we sent you to confirm your account.” There is no way for students to do that, since the e-mail will never arrive.

Is there any way to fix this without needing to involve Unity? Or, if not, can they fix it? I assume that at some point the student tried to authenticate to Unity Hub with their Google username and password and now when they try to authenticate through the district’s single sign-on Google wants to verify the account. Trying to sign in with their user name and password also results is a verification e-mail. I’m stumped.

We’re using Unity Hub 3.0.1.

As far as I understand, this error is on unity’s side, and, unfortunately, there is nothing you can do about it. However, I must say that you are doing a really great thing! When I was in high school, I was dreaming about learning this kind of stuff, but I just didn’t have that opportunity. Instead of that I was writing essay about freedom of speech and stuff, which is absolutely not what I wanted to do. That’s why I had to use Freedom of Speech Essay Examples - Argumentative Topics for Research Papers and get some inspiration, otherwise I just could write about that. I really wish I had a teacher like you at school!
