hi, I have downloaded the latest version of unity hub to download unity, but at the time of starting the download, unity hub gives me the following message … I have looked for solutions in the forum but I did not get any solution
you can try downloading it directly.
Are you going through a VPN or some other atypical network setup?
hi, I have already installed it in direct download, but I think my problem is unity hub. because it also doesn’t allow me to download modules for my version, or connect to my unity id …
and, no… i have not vpn or proxy connection…
Unity 2018.x shouldn’r require you to use Unity Hub. You should be able to just launch the editor directly. The requirement to use Unity Hub started in 2019.1.
You can add Installs, just point the hub to the install location. (Installs/Add)
Thank you for your answer … I have downloaded the 2018.4 version of the editor … the problem now is that when I enter the window of the asset store … I get a message that says “you are currently offline” … and I cannot see the asset store, Also when trying to download a package I get the following error “Unable to add package”.the use of the asset store and the packages is indispensable for my projects with unity. please help!
Separate issue, so probably best to start a new thread. I assume you have internet access?
Yes, I have internet connection. I am even connected to the asset store right now from my browser.
I don’t know why I started having this problem … I haven’t made any changes to the configuration of my internet, my pc or unity. I have no connection with any vpn or proxy.
