Hello! I’m relatively new to Unity and my first encounter is unfortunately not a happy one. Just trying to learn Unity but I’m having massive issues. Please help!
I’m almost sure this is my end, I’m just not sure how it started or how to fix it.
Once I create a fresh new project, the editor will open normally. However if I want to reopen that project I just created - I click on the project name in Unity Hub, Unity editor splash screen appears for 2-4 seconds, then kicks me back to Unity Hub. The editor never opens, even after waiting long periods of time.
Things I’ve tried already:
- Reinstalling Unity Hub
- Reinstalling Unity Editor
- Disabling Anti-Virus
- Logging in with a different Unity ID account
- Returning license and acquiring new one
Side issue that might be related:
When trying out the Microgame Tutorial, The first thing the tutorial asks me to do is playtest the game. However once I start playtesting, none of my inputs are working. This is especially notorious in FPS Microgame, where the mouse is locked and you can’t move it. Have to alt-tab and close the editor at that point.
I’d like to attach log files but I’m not where where that is or how to attach them.
