Use your built-in task manager based on your distro.

How am I meant to do that if I don’t have an account already? I am attempting to open Unity Hub and make an account but I can’t open it, meaning I can’t use my account to open a project

It worked for me. Thank you!

work for me, thanks brooo

Today I upgraded Unity Hub and now the loading screen keeps forever.

I tried both things that I can see in this thread (removing C:\users[yourusername]\AppData\Roaming\UnityHub / reinstall the update) and the issue remains.

Any other solution?

Hi!

I have also updated my Hub today and currently face the same issue as ecentinela. I see some licensing client error in the Unity Hub’s logs:

{“timestamp”:“2023-10-25T16:15:51.300Z”,“level”:“error”,“moduleName”:“LicensingSdkService”,“message”:“[ ‘Failed to launch licensing client: Error: exit code: 5, pid: 25116’ ]”}

I have installed an old version of the Hub for now and it’s opening again Old Version Of Unity Hub - Unity Forum

I’m experiencing the same issue with the latest Unity Hub.

Tried deleting all temporary files relating to Unity Hub and reinstalling completely - still getting this issue on the latest version. Unusable in its current state.

Hi!

We released the new version of the Hub - Hub 3.6.1-beta1.

This version of the Unity Hub fixes an issue which caused the license client to crash and resulted in some users being stuck on the hub loading screen.

Please use the following link to download the version:

https://s3.amazonaws.com/public.cloud.unity3d.com/hub/prod/UnityHubSetupBeta.exe

Kindly follow the steps below:

  • Close all open Editors

  • Make sure Unity Hub is closed (check the system tray)

  • Uninstall the currently installed Unity Hub

  • Install the new version

Please let us know if Hub is launching successfully.

Thank you for the cooperation and patience!

I had the same issue, but with new Hub 3.6.1-beta1 version everything is working perfectly.
Thank you!

Thank you, it worked!

Thanks, I had the same issue, and only the 3.6.1-beta1 fixed it!

The beta worked for me

Thankyou so much for this, it worked!

What helped me:
If you are using a Mac and have more than one user, you have to exit the unity hub in all the other users in order to open it in yours.

Thank you, my ass saver

One thing or the other is helping, but why is this happening at the first place?

Clear cache on mac:
~/Library/Unity/cache
