Unity hub missing projects at random

Hi,

I still get the issue of randomly lost projects in Unity Hub, this is very strange behavior and creates massive confusion if keep multiple projects

Please make this the ultimate priority, as it is simply not working right now.

Also ideally the fix should return the referenced projected missing, as it is already a huge blow, i dont even know what is there right now. When making a hub, the ultimate priority is to not miss projects, that is what the whole thing is about, otherwise makes no sense to have one or rely on it.

Thank you in advance

Why do you report this on this forum when there is clearly a topic dedicated to Unity Hub?

The issue mostly affects publishers, e.g. i have more than 30 projects active at a time. Btw i did not know there is a Unity hub topic or forum, will search to see what is there.

I’m moving this section to the Unity Hub forum. Please try to make threads in the correct places as I had to move another thread of yours to Editor Support.

Hi, yes sorry for that, as a publisher i see all issues from a publisher aspect, thus post in publisher forum in general, i will try post in more relevant area from now on

I had an official answer that said the projects can be only limited because of legacy compatibility, so there is no resolution so far and the hub is completely useless software, as it is extremely more confusing than help

Please forget about compatibility and add a larger project count possible in the list, thanks

Or at least put a warning if above 40 to not enter a new project, than have some randomly lost and confuse the user.
