Unity Hub Suggestion

I consult in the Unity world. I look at a lot of old projects. I try to keep my Unity installs to a minimum, yet just as I remove a version it seems like I needed it again.

All that as background, when Unity Hub shows the warning that the project Unity version is not installed I would love to have two buttons next to the project: Install the project version and Install the LTS of the project versions line.

I know, I can go to the archive web site, find the version and click to install it in Unity Hub. It just seems like going to another app (browser) and making clicks to launch a process in the first app (Unity Hub) when that app has all the data it needs is silly.

Yes, the Installs area of Unity does have the radio button list of a bunch of downloads but I need to think about which to pick or should I search for the project version string to find the download page, or… what if there was an “install this version” button? That would be REALLY cool.

Hello @Krellumdaed ,
We thank you for your feedback and for your interest in Unity. We do have that feature in our road-map and it will be shipped as soon as possible. However, we suggest the installation of the versions that are available in the installs tab of the hub (When you click on a project whose version is missing and is part of the hub list of the latest releases, you will have an install option in the toast). When we will introduce the mapping between the archive versions of the editor in the hub, that feature will be available
