Unity Iphone doubt

Hello again,

this question goes directly to the Unity engine team.

Im about to buy a Unity license after one month of trial version. I love it.

The thing is, I want to buy iphone basic license as well but Im stuck with a big question mark.

Ive heard stuff about unity being slow on iphone and stuff because the iphone has big limitations as a 3d processing unit of course, and I would like to try working with unity iphone basic and test it, just like I did with the trial version of Unity, to know if Im really interested in buying it or not. I understand that is not possible right now, there is no trial version of iphone basic , but as a new costumer I feel the obligation to bring this question to you.

It makes perfect sense to test a product before buying it I believe, and even though it’s the same engine we’re talking, being able to test how it performs on another platform is a completely different thing, specially when Im about to pay for it.

Can you do something about this problem ?
Is there anyway to test this before buying ?

Sorry for the criticism , but it’s my duty as a costumer to put this questions.

Btw, awsome engine, unity is the future. :stuck_out_tongue: :stuck_out_tongue: :stuck_out_tongue:

Thanks in advance.

You can request a trial, just contact them

Also unity is actually pretty fast but you develop for a phone so you need to scale your vision to it or you will fail, independent of the technology you use.

oh ok, so after I buy the Unity indie license I can request a trial version?

That’s awsome…if that’s so, Unity team continues to make me happy!!!

Very very good service!

Just confirm this info please!

You should be able request it before already I think.

You can request a trial of Unity iPhone at any time, whether you own Unity or not. The reason you have to make the request instead of just having a public download link is because you need to be a registered iPhone developer.
