When i am importing new assets in to my unity project, it is not crashing.
This problem is happening with only one project and the unity is working fine with the other projects.
what might be the problem???

If what you mean, is you can’t do anything on this specific project, the reason is its importing assets, and you just have to wait for it to finish.

I had a similar problem actually. What I ended up doing is deleting my local copy of the project and re-updating from the asset server, and it’s worked fine ever since. Specifically the editor was closing quietly, and then a “Send Bug Report” window would come up.
Moved thread to Unity Support section. Please file a bug report via the reporter that shows up when it crashes. And remember to include your project and a description of what you did up to the crash, so we can reproduce the issue.
