changing the values for any of the parameters does nothing, no matter if the GameObject’s parent has any type of layout group or not it seems. I expected to be able to create a fluid layout by combining a vertical layout group, and setting layout elements on its children to fine tune it.
Wrong subforum - UI Toolkit is a diifferent system entirely.
The Layout Element allows you to set certain values, but the settings on the layout group defines what those values mean. It’s confusing and absurd, which one of the reasons why Unity’s UI System is getting replaced with the UI Toolkit (this subforum).
Ah thanks! Wasn’t aware of this. In the meantime I managed to put together something that kind of works… for now… But good to hear that it is getting replaced
