Can’t even start using the program, this bug is ridiculous. This question has been asked a lot but no solutions have worked for me.
I complete the ‘quick and easy ;)’ survey but it just gets stuck. It’s like I’m being trolled by that winky face. Yes, I’ve deleted the C:\ProgramData folder. Yes, I’ve uninstalled. Yes, I’ve tried offline activation. Yes, yes, yes, I’ve tried disabling the firewall etc etc. This sucks, a lot!
Posting a fresh question to highlight that this is still a present issue!!! FIXIT
Facing the same issue on Windows 10 LTSB 2016 with Unity 5.6.5f1 ( and 2017.3.0f3 and 5.3.4p1). Very annoying and troublesome as it renders the program inaccessible. I have yet to found a working workaround, anything from you @GeeAtreides ?

But as I stated in the thread, I could only fix it by reinstalling windows. Obviously not the most customer friendly fix. But for me it was a fresh install of windows anyway, so it wasn’t a big issue.
For any other fix, I still have no idea.
