"Unity license has expired"

#EDIT: After clicking on the open application for, like, the 50th time it actually came up with a reactivation box. All good now, thanks.

Hi there,
I just reinstalled Unity and got this error when running:
Unity LIcense has expired.

The two options from here are:

  • Exit
  • Re-activate

Clicking on re-activate, I get this error:
Moving file failed
Moving C:/ProgramData/Unity/Unity_v4.x.ulf to C:/ProgramData/Unity/Unity_v4.x.ulf.backup failed:
The system cannot find the file specified.

I suppose I need to download this file from somewhere? Where abouts?
Thanks.

The ulf is downloadable from the Unity website (ULF is specific to your license). The problem stems from the admin rights inside the C Drive where Unity is installed. Allow access for all users on the Unity folder and hopefully it will work. I also did a Unity Uninstall and reinstall and that also worked. The problem persists if you are working on a company based computer that has heavy locks on the program files.
