Unity Linux, force manual offline activation? (personal license)

Hello

When starting Unity 2017.2f3 I directly get the “Sign into your Unity account” pop up.
Clicking “Sign in” I get “Service not available please try again later.”

We don’t have any internet access, and use remote workstations so unplugging the network is not an option.

How can I do offline eval activation?

Thank you

There is a process for offline manual activation: Unity - Manual: Manual license activation. If that doesn’t resolve your issue, please let me know.

I’m not getting the “No network connection” screen.
Instead the login screen, where “Sign in” is only option - clicking sign in throws “service not available”

Bump, this is still an issue in 2018

Is there a solution or workaround for this alreay?

I believe this got fixed in 2018.2 or later 2018.1… Its no an issue for me anymore

Nope, it is still there. In my case it is so that I have a server with network connections but not internet access, and I am not administrator. So when I start Unity it goes directly to the sig-in page, and I have no options to do a manual activation.

attaching a modified version of the editor home js script which worked for me in previous versions.
unzip and copy to:

then launch Unity, give a wizard a moment to go into offline mode… dont click on “work offline” too quickly
