Hello when I try to run the UnitySetup I get this message, is it impossible to run this setup on the commandline because I understand Unity can also run in headless mode?
I guess the problem is that it is expected to run it using sudo, not while logged in as root.
It fails, bause root user does not have graphical environment running. DISPLAY environment variable can be set to point to graphical env.
Alright I’ve read a lot of other threads about things like this by now, and I’ve decided to just install gnome to install it.
However What I still don’t understand is why I get similar errors in batch mode.
Note that this is a virtual machine though, from what I understand Unity requires newer OpenGL drivers?
Not sure how this is supposed to work then because I also ran Blender in headless mode and that worked after I installed a whole bunch of packages.
