Unity live capture and timeline

Hello guys!
I’m using timelines and unity live capture to record facial expressions. I want to use the animation created using live capture in a timeline. I created an override track for the animator of the character in the timeline and set the avatar mask to only have the head enabled. Now the issue is that only the blendshapes are playing as intended but the neck rotation is not playing at all, essentially the head rotation is not being overridden. What can be the workaround for this? or am I doing something wrong? Already spent 3-4 hours trying to figure this out. Any help would be great!
