Unity Main Menu

I am making an arcade racing game using unity. On this main menu i have 3 buttons, one is play, which when pressed will go to the racing scene. The other two are ‘credits’ and ‘controls’. Both of which will have to delete the current textures on the screen and maybe have a transitional animation. With credits and controls should i make them buttons for their own scenes, or should i use the same scene and just have transitions? When pressed i want other buttons and pictures to pop-up.

You have them on the same scene, would seem a little chaotic having a bunch of scene files for every sub menu.
