Unity MARS Bodytracking - Head not tracking well

I am having issues with the head tracking for the body tracking in Unity MARS. When the user turns their head left or right the head tracking seem to not be able to follow and will instead tilt the head to the side. Is there any solution to this or is this just how the head tracking works currently?

It seems this is an issue with the data coming from ARKit itself (which is where MARS gets its body tracking data from, via AR Foundation). I tried the body tracking sample from Apple and I see the same thing.

Time to revive this thread. I am also having significant body-tracking issues. Mostly the head and the feet don’t get tracked or very badly.

I don’t find any other threads about this topic, which I find a bit strange.

I am also noticing quality differences in between Iphones. I have tested on Iphone 12 Pro and Iphone 13 Pro and tracking is worse on Iphone 13.

I don’t even know where to look to find a fix. The answer I am mostly getting is that this has something to do with AR Kit. But that is not very satisfying.

I am having this issue for more than six months now. I am at a point where I am looking for alternatives like Kinect Azure. Unity Mars is not worth a 50 dollar per month subscription with these significant issues.

I’m happy to be proven wrong though.
