Unity minigame tutorial randomly crashed

I download Unityhub a few days ago. When I try to follow the tutorial inside the FPS learning project with Editor Version 2021.3.8f1, it crashes every time when I try to complete the “add a room” or “change colour” tasks.

I am using Windows 11 Pro Insider (64 bit),Intel(R) Core™ i9-12900K and have 32 GB of RAM

Here are some screenshots of the crash screen:

Check the editor logs and see what causes the crash

It freezed,I can’t operate anything when it happens.
However,I can open the logs before it freeze.

This is my first week of learning Unity, I’m not sure is this the editor logs we are looking for:

You can find it in the log file after crash: https://docs.unity.cn/530/Documentation/Manual/LogFiles.html

Also of course restart your PC and all that good stuff

I just test if it is only occur in the FPS tutorial project template by creating 2D platformer tutorial template and try to finish the tutorial. Soon it also occur the same issue like the preivous FPS project.

What’s your GPU?
And are your GPU drivers up to date?

I’m using NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB , also have install the latest GPU driver but it is the “GeForce Game Ready Driver”.

That’s fine. Check out/send the log file after crash

Where should I sent the log to? Here?
But I can’t upload the log txt file on here.

Hi,
I also have this issue on the latest Windows Insider build (25193.1000) using Unity 2021.3.9f1.
Somebody reported it on the Windows Feedback Hub (The Windows Insider Program) and someone suggested it has to do with Unity leaking window handles, causing Windows to freak out when it reaches an hard limit.
Not sure if it’s Unity’s fault or Windows, we’ll have to wait.
