unity modifies playerprefs .plist on new build

hey there

im having a little problem every time i run a new build for my game.
as soon as the build finishes generating, the playerprefs .plist for the game gets modified (sometimes values are deleted and sometimes they are just modified). what is super weird is that it does this before even running the game, so no actual game code ever ran.
again, as soon as the progress bar for the build finishes, i open the playerprefs file and its somehow different from before generating the new build.
any ideas?

some more info.

the .plist gets modified when “compiling scripts” is going on in the build progress bar.
and im using unity 4.5.0f6
