Can both unity pro and unity indie make multiplayered games?
yes
Moving to Multiplayer Networking since this topic did not seem to be about External Tools…
oh sorry i had another topic and i just pressed the new topic button :\ thank you for your answer.
since both indie and pro can make a multiplayer game help me understand what is the Asset Server client license for? also when it comes out for windows will it only be vista or both?
Asset server is for source code management - like Subversion, CVS, Perforce. Just more limited than those and solely usable for Unity projects.
AFAIK, Unity 2.5 will also run fine on Windows XP. I think no one ever really took Vista too seriously (I think it will be the Windows version in history that gave Mac OS the greatest boost ).
Concerning asset server: It’s a little more than just source code management as it’s also optimized for managing large binary assets (so you can’t only manage your source code files but also all models, textures, sound files and so on). But aside from that, it’s exactly what Thomas said: A version control system like others … but designed from the start for game development with Unity.
ya i would have to agree
thank you for answering my question
