Unity: Non radial Health Orb

Hi everyone!

I’m trying to make a spherical health orb (think classic Diablo!) That progresses along the X or Y (not fussed which ATM) but all I seem to be able to find is radial ones progressing clockwise or anti, which isn’t what I’m after

I’ve tried to change my existing slider to a circle texture but as the bar decreases it just shrinks the image!! Which needless to say… Looks damn aweful when it’s a squashing circle with a normal one behind it

Is there an obvious method (or question I’m missing) to do this or a way to just “hide” or mask part of the “full” value image so it shows the emptied colour behind

I’ve looked at a few asset store items (some providdd more headaches than answers) but all seem to just be radials…

ok, so for those looking for the same answer, I’ve come across setting my image type from Simple or Sliced to Filled and changing fill method from Radial 360 to horizontal or vertical

silly easy solution that I had missed but gives the effect I’m after
