Unity doesn’t decompress any packages for me anymore, does anyone know how to fix this problem? :sad:

I Just got the new version of unity
I didn’t install or run it as an administrator
One of the errors that i get is this error: Error while importing package Couldn’t decompress package
What kind of error message are you getting?

That usually means that either the package is broken or the file can’t be accessed for some reason.
Check with 7zip does the unitypackage opens at all?
Is it from different unity version?
Did you drag dropped it from browser download list? (or from folder, or double clicked it somewhere)
Does it import the standard packages?
It doesn’t import the standard packages.
Did you delete them manually? Or did you install as administrator and now you are starting Unity not being the administrator?
I didn’t install it as an administrator.
