Unity not detecting VS Code?

Hey,

I’m trying to set up Unity on my linux machine (running NixOS and Gnome 40). Unity itself runs fine so far, but for some reason it’s not detecting that I have VS Code installed too. When I go to the External Script Editor, I don’t get the option of selecting VS Code:

Has anybody experienced this? And do you know a solution?

When I install everything from flathub it seems to work better. I’ll report back if anything changes.
