Unity Not Opening

There is some bug(s) with the license file related to newer versions of Unity and the Hub, reported in another threads:

After a lot of forum reading and tryouts, this is what worked for me:

  • Remove license activation from the hub or from Unity ID
  • Uninstall the hub
  • Delete C:/ProgramData/Unity folder (which has the license file)
  • Install an older version of the hub (2.0.4). Found this one in one of the threads: https://web.archive.org/web/2019080…cloud.unity3d.com/hub/prod/UnityHubSetup.exe
  • The hub will ask for autoupgrade, make sure to click “remind me later”
  • Active license in the hub as usual
  • Open project, unity starts as usual, with the license working

After that i updated the hub and unity still works fine, in my case only one project was causing problems, i don’t know if one run of the unity version is enough or one for each project is needed.
