I’m sure the developers may already know … but just incase … I wanted to report that the Unity plugin doesn’t work in Safari 4 … I’ve tried uninstalling - reinstalling… nothing works.
works fine in my other browsers.

You have Flip4Mac installed?
Just disabled Flip4Mac and all works perfectly now!!! Thanks!
Question is why Safari 4 is messing the MIME type althought it worked in S3, because thats what it actually is doing behind the scene.
If you disable the support to play quicktime in flip4mac directly, you get a qt window which if you wait long enough, shows the unity version and some letters, which means that it for some stupid reason assumes that the file it found must be an AVI / Windows Movie File …
It appears to mess so many other things on the computer, anyway. I updated the thread Jessie mentions with my most recent experience, which ended by uninstalling this beta. Stay away from it, if you don’t want your Mac to behave as if it had drunk too much…
