I have a system with quadro FX 5600 (with GSync) and dual projector setup (nview clone mode stereo). The system works fine with applications based on cavelib. I want to design something similar using Unity3D. I can generate left and right eye views but i dont know how can i send those views to corresponding projectors. Somebody also told me that i need to use frame locking for synchronization. I would appreciate if anybody can point me in the right direction.
You need to make your application multi-GPU aware: http://www.equalizergraphics.com/documentation/parallelOpenGLFAQ.html#multigpu
How is this going to help? I am using just one graphics card so there is only one GPU.
Ah, it sounded as if you have multiple quadro. You probably have to allocate a stereo pixel format and render to the GL_BACK_LEFT and _RIGHT buffers.
helps just as nothing, this is the unity board, not a C++ + OpenGL board
My application is designed in Unity3D game engine which is based on directx/direct3D. So I guess this is not an option.
My original question is strictly related to Unity3D.
Thats why I posted that
and Unity isn’t strictly dx actually
but for you it does not make a difference as you can not impact the setup in any way
As far as I know Unity uses directx rendering in windows and opengl in mac. Is that correct?
