Unity on launch gives grey screen, can't open projects? online fix won't work for 2017.3.

when launching unity(I have already delete everything and reinstalled like 3 times)
the photo is in the file, I tried commandline to open projects but that won’t work neither, leads to the same grey screen. I got it to open through a level I used to work with, but the editor then froze and I am unable to click on anything.
This became a problem after I restared the computer once, and now it just won’t open. disable the network does not fix it niether.
Now I am devastated because I worked half way through a project. Please if there is any fix on this problem. Should I try to download an old version of unity?

It didn’t work doe. I hoped it would, but the grey screen is just still there.

How_chen did you find the problem because my unity is doing this and i’ve downloaded 4 different versions more than 8 times and they all dont open projects and make grey screen
