Unity or Corona SDK

Hi folks!
I am writing and designing interactive fun kids stories and edu-tainment book apps. My main problem is deciding on either Unity or Corona SDK. I wonder if using Unity is overkill as these apps will be basically illustrated pages that come alive on touch / swipe etc. I am not sure if any physics will be used. But i will be wanting to tween large graphics with ease-ins and possibly use modular animation to avoid huge texture atlases. Viz big bug eyed monsters with maybe animated components - eyes, mouth, arms flailing etc.
Can someone please offer any reasons why Unity might be the answer - or not, as the case may be.

I used Corona SDK before, both Unity and Corona are good game engines. I am using Unity because of it’s diversity of platforms. However, if you are only looking for book apps maybe Corona SDK is a better choice. As i remember it has a plugin for interactive books and learning curve is lower than Unity.

Thanks for your reply @baran_cezayirli . I am in two minds because Unity has this amazing IDE with such a nice 3D camera and orthographic view. As a PC user, i will not have access to Corona’s new Composer GUI which is only available for MAC users. Unity also has so many amazing assets like Puppet2D, 2DToolkit etc. But either way i will have to learn C# or Lua. Unity is FREE and so is the Corona SDK Starter version with ability to use iAds, Admob but no IAP.
I’ve hear about the Kwiksher plugin for Photoshop 5+ but sadly it’s pricey and so is Photoshop CS5 and above.
Still in two minds LOL

You don’t need that power for an interactive book. Also 2D Toolkit and Puppet 2D is also not that cheap  both c# in unity and Lua in Corona is easy to use. If you are not an android developer you will have some difficulties with android specific functions like iAds or IAP(i recently had  ) in both cases. But if you learn Unity you can do more with it then Corona.

I have another idea for if you are an illustrator, we can exchange i can write the code you can do some game art for me
