unabale to create a project due to a Unity package manager error. I installed and uninstalled it a number of times. I turned off the Windows firewall and antiviruses, but it doesn’t make any difference.
Someone please help me…
do you have a proxy server? what are the errors in the log files? we cant tell from here without any information
no i dont have any proxy server.
could not find the unity package manager local server application at [c:/program files/unity/Hub/Editor/2023.3.49f1/Editor/Data/Resources/Package manager/server/unitypackage manager.exe].
missing files could be the result of antivirus action or a corrupt unity installation.
This is the message from the popup, but i actually turned off both antivirus and windows defender and i downloaded the unity installation packager from the original site as well.
can you help me to resolve the issue?
then your installation isnt complete. Reinstall. You shouldnt need to kill defender and av to install it, but it would depend on what antivirus and if you’re on someone elses control (collage machine, work etc)
can you help me step by step? coz i reinstalled several times.
look in your unity hub logs, and the event logs and see what is going wrong… I cant help you force a file into existance sadly
