Unity package not opening

I downloaded the A* pathfinding project, and tried to use it but nothing happens when i open the file.

so, everytime i double click unity editor openfile, it just reloads this window and does nothing… How could i fix this?

oh nevermind i figured it out, i needed to go to “assets- import package- custom package” (in the unity editor) and find the .unityasset file.
the reason it didn’t work before was because the tutorial i was using was old
