Unity Player doesn't work on Mac OS 10.6.2?

I just bought a Mac Book Pro yesterday and updated the OS to 10.6.2 this morning.

This afternoon I went to Unity website to see the Live Demo, it required me to install the Unity Player then I did so.

The installation went fine, as least there was no error message. But then when I went back to the page:

and click on the link:

it just said, “Not installed”, “Not installed”.

I repeated the step a few times and it still did not work.

Does anyone have any idea why is that?

Thanks in advance!

sounds like you try to use it in safari.
in that case search for the various threads on the problem that link you to the explanation page or go to the changelog of 2.6.
On both you will see the instructions on how to make Safari work with it, as Apple decided to move to 64bit and cut all 32bit support without any prewarning short before 10.6 releases thus there is no plugin for safari in 64bit mode
