Unity, please improve the mobile unity3d.com experience

Dear Unity,

I would very much appreciate if you could improve the user experience for unity3d.com, when browsing on a mobile device. Although I usually use my iPhone 5S and iPad, I think the mobile experience needs some love overall, and most is probably minor tweaks.

At the moment there are two items at the top of my list that annoy me every single day,

  1. Please reduce the space the top header takes (screenshot below) and make it disappear when scrolling or at least give me the ability to hide it. I need the 20% it takes on my iPhone 5for actually using the page.

  1. Please allow me to tap on the images in the asset store to view them full screen.

Highly appreciated!

Regards, Svavar Melberg

Edit: I screwed up the image, it took 15 minutes to get a get a direct link to a dropbox image from a mobile device onto this forum… Possible improvements there as well

Image doesn’t show up. Be sure it is in the public folder of dropbox.

I second them both.

I’ll pass this to the web team, thanks.

The scroll bar should disappear when you scroll down and only reappear when you scroll back up.

The scrollbar disappears fine for me on scrolling down.

My main problem on the forums is that when I try to scroll through my alerts, the alerts popup vanishes, only giving me access to the top two without going to my alerts page.

I’ve complained about how terrible the new API design is on mobile, but I guess the web team has higher priorities. Not a jab, but I hope they can get to fixing the APIs sometime.
