I’m subscribed with Unity Plus but there is a Level 11 icon under my profile picture.
I’m sure its exclusively only for Unity Pro license, right ?
Or am i wrong ?

Me too, I was almost to write the same post! 
I tried to find answers everywhere without success. I remember that when I did the subscription was not possible to go in Level11.

Same here, I thought I won something but didn’t find any emails about winning anything… not to mention, I never win anything… but… must say, this was a nice surprise and def made me feel like a winner today : )

According to the new graphic it says Plus subscribers get 20% off Asset Kits. Maybe this is what Level 11 has been turned into, so you getting the icon is expected?

I had a Pro subscription for over two years and last month switched to Plus.
Level 11 stopped offering me free and discounted assets last month when I switched to Plus but I just checked and it is enabled for me again.
Either someone made a mistake or they’ve added it to the Plus tier.
Maybe a lot of Pro users switched to Plus and Unity realised that they were missing out on revenue from the purchase of the discounted assets.

Shhh. Don’t be to loud. If it is a technical error, let’s run with it for a few months.
On the other hand if it’s lisencing change, that’s awesome. But I would have expected to see an announcement and the requisite forum threads complaining that it’s not fair.

Haha, sorry guys… It really wouldn’t be funny though, it would suck. But if it really is a technical glitch, they really do need to know about it. Because then lots of devs will be loosing out on tons of money + hundreds of more potential customer service requests.
But at the same time, it would be funny, but not really funny. Just one of them wtf moments that’s so stupid you just can’t help but laugh lol.

Even though I’m a plus subscriber, I agree it would be funny. None of us were expecting level 11 stuff. So none of us really loose out.
The practicality of removing assets from a dev who has downloaded them would be interesting. Sure they can revoke your ability to download it from the store. But it would be very hard to remove the asset if someone had downloaded it. Best you could do was ask them nicely and hope they are law abiding.

I suspect a lot of us Pro users will be switching to Plus. I doubt they’d want to give people any MORE reason to do that… so, I’m guessing it’s a bug

I’m betting error.
Policy changes don’t get implemented until multiple months after they are announced, if they ever are implemented. And they require at least a dozen forum threads complaining about the change.

Level 11 isn’t listed on the licence comparison page, and I’m pretty sure I remember it disappearing in the licensing changes. It does say Asset Kits are 20% of for Plus and 40% of for Pro. https://store.unity.com/front-page
Perhaps it is just the terminology that is left over by mistake? Nobody has actually said here what they got when it said Level 11.

Funny. i had no idea we weren’t supposed to be getting it. I signed up for Plus recently and when I saw the “11” in the asset store, I just figured it was supposed to be there. Never bothered to look at the comparisons again. Besides, I’m no horse dentist. Free things come my way, I don’t complain or look for a reason!

What do you mean by “what they got”? Just not sure what you mean.
To clarify what I got:
When I had a Pro sub, Level 11 worked.
Last month, I switched to Plus and Level 11 stopped working. I could still see what was available for Level 11, I just could not download the assets for free or purchase assets at a discount.
This month, as of yesterday when I saw this thread, Level 11 is working for me again.

It seems to work for me as well (Plus), but I was strong enough to resist until this is clarified.
When I open the asset store main page, the 5 free assets show up as the most downloaded “paid” — I really hope Unity finds a way to compensate those developers, unless this is intended behavior.
