I have searched for the answer, but can find a definitive yes or no.
So can someone confirm that if i upgrade to Unity Pro, can I still export to IOS with the basic IOS plugin from Unity Pro, or do I need the Pro IOS version

Unity licenses work additively.
Thus a basic IOS plugin is compatible with Unity Pro. you would need the Pro IOS version though for the Pro IOS functions, just like you needed to before
