I know unity Pro is not needed to make games, but it adds a certain level of polish (water pro and shadows for example) would it be a waste to get Unity Pro if I am only going to be doing mobile programming? I assume the shaders/shadows/pro water would be too heavy for mobile. Or do you think it’s worth it for the added features for strictly mobile?
Whether you think it’s worth it depends on what you need/want. Powerful 2D, 3D, VR, and AR software for cross-platform development of games and mobile apps. You can’t use iOS Pro or Android Pro without Unity Pro as a base.
