Unity Pro - Serial has reached the maximum number of activations

Hi,
I’m getting the seemingly common ‘serial reached maximum number of activations’ error on my macOS.
Per my screenshots below, i can confirm there is no activation at all! In fact, i just turned on the free trial and straightaway tried to activate the key i assigned to myself.

I tried the same on two different accounts, and both give me the same error.

I also tried the online activation way with .alf. It shows “serial has reached the maximum number of activations.”. what is happening! nothing special with the license logs either.

I sent an email and also logged a ticket but the auto reply states 2 months to respond :confused:
Anyone?

Things i have tried

  • Different accounts (but both have previously personal licenses)
  • Unity Hub activation vs .alf activations.Tried generating .alf from different machines too
  • Todo: New acccount from scratch



Under Manage license, can you assign yourself the seat?
